Bigs of the Year honored for work with kids

Two hours a week can change a child’s life.

Just ask the mentors with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff. The organization matches at-risk children between the ages of 6 and 15 with caring adults who want to be positive role models.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff has named Carolina Mora, James Connell and Christina Anaya as its three 2015 Bigs of the Year in honor of National Mentoring Month.

“All three of them are amazing,” said Jill Navran, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff’s Community-Based Program coordinator. “I think that all three of these mentors are in this for the kids and they’re doing a lot to change their lives for the better.”
