AzCA is Hiring a Parent Aide in Coconino County

AzCA is hiring an On-Call position for a Parent Aide to cover cases in Coconino County.

Parent Aide Service is focused on working with parent/caregivers one-on-one through skills training, coaching and support, and supervising visitations with parents/caregivers and their children. The purpose of Parent Aide is to increase a parent/caregivers protective capacities so that they have the cognitive, emotional and behavioral capacity to protect their children from harm and danger, can remain in or return to the parent/caregiver’s care, and to reduce or eliminate the likelihood of repeated reports of abuse or neglect.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age (licensing requirement).
  • Must be 25 years of age to operate an agency vehicle.
  • Bachelor’s in Human Services or directly related degree
  • 2 years’ experience working in the Human Service Field
  • Possess a valid Arizona driver’s license and be insurable under the agency’s automobile policy.
  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel).
  • Must be able to provide own transportation to and from clients’ homes and/or other relevant organizations/agencies.
