AZ schools kick off National School Breakfast Week

GILBERT — The Arizona Department of Education making sure students make the grade with a healthy breakfast.
It kicked off National School Breakfast Week on Monday with the help of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton.
He appeared at CTA Freedom Academy in Gilbert to help remind families that a healthy school breakfast helps students prepare for the classroom.
This year’s theme is “Make the Grade with School Breakfast.”
Stanton was one of 25 celebrities in Arizona who visited schools across the state to help spread the message.
