Arizona Grandparent Ambassadors

| April 23, 2017

We have a wonderful opportunity to share our thoughts with the Department of Child Safety (DCS) regarding the Foster Home Licensing Process, with a special emphasis on the Foster Parent Training Curriculum.

We are seeking kin caregivers who are responsible for children placed by DCS.

Please consider attending if you are:

  • A kin caregiver licensed as a foster parent
  • A kin caregiver who has a DCS-involved child in your home and you would like to be, or are trying to be, licensed as a foster parent.
  • A kin caregiver who tried to get licensed, but did not complete licensure because you were unable to complete the Foster Parent Training due to scheduling or other reasons.
  • A kin caregiver who was rejected for licensure, but still has a DCS-involved child in your home.
