Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence (AzCASE) — Thank You to Our Giving Tuesday Supporters!

| December 8, 2020
The Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence is celebrating
30 years of serving Arizona’s youth program providers.
Thank you to those who contributed their time and their resources to share our message, monetarily, or with thought and reflection about how we can continue to support out-of-school time within the challenging circumstances we face. Our efforts to increase access to affordable, quality afterschool programs continues, but can only be fully accomplished with your commitment to champion Arizona’s youth. Thank you!
Congratulations to SARSEF, the winner of the PPE Giveaway!

Act Now to Help Get Additional COVID 19 Funding
for Afterschool Programs!
S.4868 was introduced to Congress in October to expand access to supervised learning for students through the remainder of the COVID-19 emergency. The legislation would provide $1.2 billion in additional funding and greater flexibility for the Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC program to make it easier for parents to work and help children continue their learning in an academically supportive environment, especially when schools are operating virtually and not offering class in-person. It’s time to act by urging Congress to prioritize youth in any upcoming funding bill or Coronavirus response legislation. Click HERE to contact Congress and learn more.
