The Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence (AzCASE) is celebrating 30 Years of serving Arizona’s Youth Program Providers
Announcing AzCASE Spring Professional Development Sessions
AzCASE is offering a variety of workshops throughout Arizona with area experts and leading edge topics to support youth program providers.
February Sessions:   
  • February 18th in Chandler,10:00am-Noon: 
  • Leadership Workshop with Lori Robinson –  Relationships Matter
  • February 19th in El Mirage , 10:00am-Noon:

  • February 20th in Phoenix, 10:00am-Noon:

Funding Opportunities
IGT’s Afterschool Advantage Program The After School Advantage (ASA) program is IGT’s flagship community initiative, devoted to providing young people with access to technology in a safe, nurturing afterschool environment, while promoting opportunities in digital learning centers in communities where the Company operates.
Proposals are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
Good Sports Equipment Grant Good Sports distributes sports equipment, footwear, and apparel to community organizations offering programs to disadvantaged youth helping to lay the foundation for healthy, active lifestyles. Through innovative partnerships with sporting-goods manufacturers, corporate donors and individual funders, GS is able to provide disadvantaged youth with the equipment they need to participate.
Nominations for the Youth Development Champions Program
AzCASE is currently seeking a group of passionate leaders to be a part of the very first 2020 cohort of Youth Development Champions!
A successful Champion should be:
  • Interested in increasing access to high-quality afterschool, summer, and expanded learning programs
  • Committed to advocating for out-of-school time programs and the young people and families they serve.
  • Involved and informed in current trends in youth development, social and emotional learning, trauma informed care, informal STEM/STEAM education, or related areas of out-of-school time programming.
If you know someone who is passionate about afterschool, summer, and other expanded learning programs and want to advocate for Arizona’s children and families and who might be interested in becoming one of our Champions, please go ahead and submit their nomination. Nomination closes January 24th.
