Voters registered as Independents or with a party other than the Republican, Democratic or Libertarian parties, can and should vote in the Primary Election on August 26th.
Simply follow these steps:
If you are on the Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL) and would like to vote by mail in the Primary, you must contact your County Recorder’s office and request that a ballot from the party of your choice be mailed to you. The deadline to request an early ballot is August 15th at 5:00 p.m., but the sooner you request it the better. HERE are County links to requesting your early ballot online, where available, or who to contact to request your ballot.
