| September 7, 2021

By the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (CSPV)

The Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (CSPV) at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking schools (in Arizona) containing grades 6-8 or 7-9 in select states to implement the Botvin LifeSkills Training (LST) Middle School program. This grant opportunity comes at a critical time when COVID-19 has impacted budgets and demanded the social- emotional competencies and healthy coping strategies taught within the LST program. It is also an opportunity to address the recent surge in the use of e-vapor products among youth.

CSPV has learned about program replication successes and challenges by helping more than 400 school districts around the country implement the LifeSkills Training programs. This grant allows CSPV to provide three years of training and program materials to eligible schools, districts, and education agencies, beginning in Fall 2022.
