Applications due by May 20 for Arizona Rural Health Service Awards

Applications are now being accepted for the Arizona Rural Health Service Awards that will be presented at its conference on June 15-16 in Flagstaff.

The Arizona Rural Health Service Awards honor outstanding rural health volunteers, professionals, and programs for their dedication and commitment to improving the health of rural residents of our state. Each year the Arizona Rural Health Association (AzRHA) recognizes the award winners at the annual Arizona Rural Health Conference. This year, the conference will be held on June 15 and 16, both virtually and in person at the High-Country Conference Center in Flagstaff.  The winners will receive a free one-year membership in the Arizona Rural Health Association and a beautiful award plaque.

Nominations are being accepted for the following awards:

  • Ronald S. Weinstein Telehealth Innovation
  • Distinguished Martha Ortiz Volunteer
  • Inspiring Rural Health Program
  • Exceptional Rural Health Professional 

Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Friday, May 20
