2018 Viola Awards nominees announced for Excellence in Arts, Science Education categories

The Flagstaff Arts Council has named:
- Betsy Hamill – Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy
- Chandra Hemminger – Summit High School
- Joe Cornett – Flagstaff High School
- Leslie Baker – Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy
- Tim McKay – Mount Elden Middle School
as 2018 Viola Awards nominees in the Excellence in Arts Education category.
The Flagstaff Arts Council also named:
- Carrie Jenkins – Sinagua
- Christine Sapio – Coconino High School
- Rich Krueger – Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy
- Susan Brown – Northland Preparatory Academy
as 2018 Viola Awards nominees in the Excellence in Science Education category.
The 10th annual Viola Awards Gala will be held on Saturday, March 3 at the High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff.
The Viola Awards are Flagstaff’s Oscars for the arts. Celebrating excellence in the arts and sciences, the Viola Awards recognize artists, educators, organizations and leaders who make positive contributions to the arts and sciences in Flagstaff.
