Governor Ducey recently proposed to increase funding to K-12 education by increasing the money from the State Land Trust that goes to public district and charter schools.

How much money will the proposal generate for K-12 education?

This proposal is expected to generate more than $2 billion for K-12 education over 10 years. In the first five years of implementation, the proposal will generate $1.8 billion, which is more than $300 million per year and about $300 per pupil.
