Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
  • Would you like to feel more confident in your ability to help someone considering suicide?
  • Would you like to help a person at risk keep safe and seek further help
  • Would you like to help make your community suicide free?

If you answered yes to any of these questions:

Native Americans for Community Action (NACA) invites you to attend ASIST 11, a two (2) day practical training for individuals seeking to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. Attendance is required both days to receive a certificate of completion.

Learn how to:

  • Recognize invitations for help
  • Reach out and offer support
  • Review the risk of suicide
  • Apply a suicide intervention model, and
  • Link people with community resources

When: May 26th & 27th, 2015

Time: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
