On December 7th from 10am-noon at LOCAL WORKS (on 4th Street right behind Summit Gymnastics),The Flagstaff Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) group invites you to participate in a toy fixing clinic, where kids/adults can bring toys to be repaired, and then either keep the toys or give them to a hospital or care center. Thank you to Joe Davidson of “Local Works”, Flagstaff’s first maker’s space, for hosting the inaugural event. Donate toys and supplies in advance, or just come and volunteer your time to join us for the fun & fixing.
WiSE needs toys to fix, supplies for fixing them, donations to buy parts, supplies and refreshments, volunteers to fix & clean toys. Bring supplies, donations and toys that need TLC to NACET (2225 N. Gemini Drive – deliver to Annette Zinky or Mindy Bell at the STEM City Center) prior to December 5th. It’s recommended to find parts by scanning local garage sales or visit your local Goodwill.
