Her winning essay showed her compassion, knowledge and experienced response to child abuse in her community.

Adverse Childhood Experiences Training on April 30 to be rescheduled

WILLIAMS — The Williams Child Abuse Prevention Council invites the community to join in a celebration of hope – that child abuse can be prevented!

In honor of April as Child Abuse Prevention month, children, families, community leaders and all who can join, are asked to help plant Pinwheels at North Country Clinic on April 16th to recognize the 75 young lives in Arizona that were lost to child abuse and neglect, to honor the ones who survived, and celebrate the children who make up our community.

The Williams Child Abuse Prevention Council will present its second annual “Pinwheels of Hope” at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16 at North Country Healthcare, 301 S. 7th St., Williams.

“Come celebrate the lives of the amazing children who live in Williams and remember the 75 Arizona children who died last year do to child abuse and neglect,” the council reported. “Together we can end child abuse and neglect!”
