The Association for Supportive Child Care is seeking an eager new T.E.A.C.H. Program Specialist. The Program Specialist will review and process applicant information according to requirements and guidelines, manage and maintain scholarship recipient and sponsor records, support and mentor scholarship recipients to ensure successful credential or degree completion, recruit eligible recipients and sponsors, and advise and provide information regarding available scholarships.
One of the duties of the position will include being responsible for informing and recruiting potential participants through various methods of outreach, including presentations to child care center directors/owners, family child care directors/owners, other early care and education professionals, college and university faculty, staff, and students, and related service agencies.
Some of the fundamental qualification’s for this job include, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, flexible schedule, reliable transportation, problem-solving skills, and embraces a team-based, collaborative work environment.
