Sinagua Middle School Parent Teacher Organization is seeking parents for officer positions

The Sinagua Middle School Parent Teacher Organization is seeking parents to apply for a variety of officer positions.

The first PTO meeting of the school year will be held at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12 at the school’s Commons.

Positions include:

  • President – Preside over meetings, guide board members and be a main contact for all.
  • Fundraiser – Coordinates, manages and promotes all the fundraisers.
  • Secretary – Take minutes of the meetings, create communications for teachers, parents and students
  • Treasurer – Keeps the organization in good fiscal standing by maintaining the books, collecting and depositing money and filing all the required documents.
  • Volunteer Coordinator – Manage, coordinate and recruit volunteers for various events.
  • Event Coordinators – Manage, coordinate and promote various PTO events.
  • Site Council – Attends all site council meetings and communicates with both the PTO and site council.
