PUSD governing board seeking to restrict student drivers at lunchtime

Although the Page Unified School District governing board didn’t take any action during their regularly scheduled board meeting (Dec. 8) night, a proposal given by PHS principal Paul Gagnon which would restrict students from leaving campus in their vehicles at lunchtime was met with vocal approval from both the board and superintendent Rob Varner.

The proposal, shown to the board and roughly two dozen audience members, would also require students who drive their vehicles to campus to provide proof of registration to the district, the purchase of a parking pass, and would limit all student parking to the CAB parking lot on South Navajo Drive.
