“Master your Emotion” Training in Flagstaff May 1st — Register now!

| April 19, 2014

Learn how to create a positive environment for youth to learn and thrive by taking the negative emotions out of discipline, and out of dealing with coworkers. Gain strategies for identifying the desired outcome of an interaction, and how to utilize a formula to create that outcome. Not only will you come away from this workshop with new skills for managing emotions, you will also learn how to teach them to the youth in your program. Your emotions, both positive and negative, directly correspond to the way you view and respond to situations.

This class teaches out-of-school time program professionals how to look at situations differently, in order to remove the negative emotions from interaction with children and coworkers. They will learn how to identify the desired outcome of an interaction, and how to utilize a formula to create that outcome. They will also learn how to pass on these skills to the youth in their program.
