Hopi Early Childhood Fairs to be held June 24, July 8

| June 12, 2015

The Hopi Early Childhood Fairs will be held on June 24 at the Moenkopi Community Center and July 8 at the Second Mesa Day School.

This year’s theme for both events is Help Me Grow!  We know how important the early years are for building a strong foundation that will help children grow with traits such as perseverance, helpfulness, dreams and the Hopi language.

Join us in bringing community resources together to support building a strong foundation for children that will support families and strengthen our communities.

Families are invited to learn ways to support their child’s health and early learning with fun gardening activities and traditional growing demonstrations, music, dancing, storytelling, children’s health and dental screenings, child care resources, Head Start registration, kids’ books, door prizes, healthy snacks and much more!

Both events are from 10am -1pm.  Don’t miss the fun on June 24th at Moenkopi Community Center and July 8th at Second Mesa Day School!  Call Hopi Head Start at 928-734-3513 for more information.

This free community resource fair is hosted by the Hopi Early Childhood Fair Committee made of diverse community partners including Association for Supportive Child Care, Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth, Coconino County Public Health Services District, First Things First, Hopi Head Start, Hopi Health Care Center, Hopi Library, Hopi Office of Special Needs, Hopi Department of Education Administration, Parenting Arizona and the Tewa Youth Program.  Thank you to our sponsors, First Things First, Hopi Head Start, and the Moenkopi Law and Order Day Committee.
