Flagstaff Foster, Kinship & Adoption Support Group to meet on Oct. 14

FLAGSTAFF — The Flagstaff Foster, Kinship & Adoption Support Group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday Oct. 14 at Flagstaff High School, 613 N. Kendrick St., Flagstaff.

Free training – “Adverse Childhood Experiences, ACE‘s and Positve Responses 2.0” with Deborah Sheehan 

Deborah Sheehan has a master’s degree in Educational Psychology/Social Psychology and is a licensed health care administrator. She is recently retired as the Executive Director of PACT for Families—a children’s mental health and family services collaborative extending over five counties in western Minnesota.

She joined us for a training in April 2018 and have such a positive response so we are having her return and continue diving into this important topic.

2-Hour Continuing Education certificates will be given, this training meets state requirements for maintaining foster care license.

FREE CHILDCARE is available for ages 1 – 13 years old.

MUST REGISTER BEFOREHAND TO CONFIRM CHILDCARE SPOTS!

This is open to all foster, kinship and adoptive families in Coconino County, CASA’s, behavioral heath professional, teachers, etc.
