Flagstaff Back-to-School Fair up next on July 29 after successful Page event

Several hundred backpacks were distributed to families at the Page Back-to-School and Community Health & Wellness Fair — A Bridge to a Healthier Life!, held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Page High School Gymnasium.

The Page event is one of a number of back-to-school fairs being held in Coconino County. Flagstaff will hold its Back-to-School & Community Health Fair on Saturday, July 29.

Dozens of community, education, and other groups began setting up the gymnasium in Page an hour before the doors open up to parents and children at 10 a.m.

The fair was organized by the Coconino County Public Health Services District in Page and supported by members of the Page Community Resource group.

 

Flagstaff (July 29)

Parents and their children are invited to attend the Back-to-School & Community Health Fair, to be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Coconino County Public Health Services District building, 2625 N. King St., Flagstaff.

Sponsored by the Coconino County Public Health Services District, the event features:

  • Free backpacks for children K-12, while supplies last. (Child must be present and complete an event Passport to receive a backpack.)
  • Back to school vaccinations
  • Free Sports Physicals (limited number)
  • Fun activity stations
  • Community Resource Information

Fredonia (Aug. 15)

Parents and their children are invited to attend the Fredonia Back-to-School Night starting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15.

The event features:

  • Free backpacks for children K-12, while supplies last.
  • Community Resource Information
  • 5 p.m. Elementary Back to School Night
  • 6 p.m. Back to School Night Dinner
  • 7 p.m. Middle School/High School Back to School Night
