You’re invited to an educational training on the Health Insurance Marketplace.
The Health Insurance Marketplace is a new way to obtain affordable health insurance coverage. The Internet-based site, https://www.healthcare.gov, launched October 1st. Using the website, customers can choose from several levels of coverage — from basic “bronze” to “platinum” plans. The Health Insurance Marketplace will help individuals get coverage to meet their needs and fit their budget.
The Coconino County Public Health Services District is partnering with The Greater Phoenix Urban League and AARP Arizona to offer an educational presentation on the Health Insurance Marketplace health coverage options and enrollment information.
The presentation is designed to assist small business owners, agency representatives working with individuals who do not have health insurance and others who may have a need to assist individuals with The Marketplace. Attendees will learn how the Marketplace can benefit their workers, members and students and will offer important information that they can pass on to their contacts.
