Education leaders ranging from elementary school teachers to Northern Arizona University administrators discussed tactics to better bring science education into classrooms Monday night at the Rodel Foundation’s annual Flagstaff event.

The event, called “A Cosmic Conversation” focused on keeping students excited about science and math throughout their time in school and featured a panel of experts, including NAU President Rita Cheng, teachers Josh Armstrong and Kaci Heins, NAU professor Pamela Powell and astronomer Will Grundy. The conversation was facilitated by TGen North Director of Programs and Operations David Engelthaler.
