School officials expected more than 500 backpacks to be distributed on the first day of the Williams Back to School Fair on Tuesday, July 21 at the Williams Elementary-Middle School Gymnasium, 601 North 7th St., Williams
A variety of educational and health information were also distributed by a number of community organizations including the Arizona Nutrition Network, Association for Supportive ChildCare, the Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth, Coconino Public Health Services District, First Things First, The Guidance Center, North Country Health Care and other organizations.
The event continues from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 22.
