Arizona Out-of-School Time Workshops

Empower yourself and your staff by registering for  “Maximizing Communication with Children with Special Needs” presented by Amy Maschue, CCC-SLP, the next in our series of professional development trainings. This training provides evidence-based practices that will help you maximize your communication with children with special needs. You will review strategies and communication behaviors of special needs youth (at every level of communication ability), and receive training on social interaction planning tools to help you better communicate and interact.The cost of the training is only $30 per person. This workshop provides evidence-based practices that will help you maximize your communication with students with special needs.
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the three hour session. Participation in this training meets the requirements of the new Quality Standards for Out-of-School Time Programs (Standard IV: Equity and Inclusion).

  • February 18th – 9 am -12 pm, 5025 E. Washington Street, Phoenix
  • February 19th – 9 am – 12 pm, PVUSD Foothills Center, 17835 N. 44th Street, Phoenix
  • February 20th – 9 am-12 pm, Donna Liggins Recreation Center, 2160 N. 6th Avenue, Tucson
  • February 25th – 9 am -12 pm, Flagstaff Family Resource Center, 4000 N. Cummings Street, Flagstaff
